Trypas Corassao

In a hybrid and sensual proposal, the Brazilian duo Trypas Corassão (Cigarra and Tita Maravilha) brings a live act full of creamy noises and appeals. Urgent bodies of marginal women and travesti fury. Violence as language. BEAUTY AS REVENGE.
They talk about the frontiers, cross the frontiers, the re-frontiers of being a woman (trans and cis) through the baile funk, electro, brega, technology, rustic christianity, the dramatic over and the post-romantic.
Trypas Corassão brings the torn power that comes from within, like the gut and heart, as a bleeding body that generates feelings.
We are independent women artists, who bring from the possibility of feeling power in the face of a history that expels us and determines our marginal places. In a search for ultra-romantic and post-dramatic aesthetics, the creation consists of the meeting of two brasilian friends: Tita Maravilha as an actress-performer-singer, and Cigarra in sound and narrative conception, a multimedia artist and also as a performer. With Miss Immitgration.
